Obituary

Carol Ann Bledsoe, 79, a longtime resident of Hooker, passed away in hospice care at her home on Friday morning, August 29, 2025.  Carol was the daughter of Earl Otto and Faye Elizabeth (Sterns) Weiss., she was born October 19, 1945 in Liberal, Kansas.

Carol attended school in Baker, Oklahoma graduating with the Class of 1963.  She was a beautician, worked at Cargill Grain, Audrey's Fashion Shop, operated a house cleaning business, Avon Ambassador, and homemaker.

She was married to Del Lambley in 1965.  The family moved to Hooker from Tulsa in 1974.  Carol and Jimmy Ray "Jim" Bledsoe were married at Hooker in March of 1991.  Jim preceded her in death on December 12, 2023.

Carol is survived by two sons, John Lambley and Tanya (Windsor) Rivera and Michael Lambley and wife, Mignon all of Hooker, four grandsons: Kyle, Boone, Burke & Vaughn Lambley, sister, Barbara Burns of Hooker, and sister-in-law, Bertha Dunn of Lakeview, Texas.

Viewing and visitation with family will be Friday evening, September 5th between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. at Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home.  Memorial services will be conducted Sunday afternoon, October 19th at 2:00 p.m. in the Hooker Cemetery wilth Jefferey Strenbury and Kevin Alm officiating.

The family suggest memorials be given to the Hooker Ambulance fund.  Memorials will be accepted at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Oklahoma 73942.
