Carlton Elton Robertson, former Hardesty resident, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023 in Lubbock, Texas.

Carl was born July 26, 1946, to Redie and Clara (Johnson) Robertson in Cullman, Alabama. He worked in maintenance for Hardesty schools for seven years, and was a self-employed contractor.

Carl is survived by his wife of 57 years, Velda Dorene Robertson; daughter, Karen Goins and husband Kenny of Hardesty, OK; sons, Carl Robertson and wife Becky of Tyrone, OK, Bryan Robertson and wife Merida of Lubbock, TX, and Terry Robertson and fiancée Paula Neel of Amarillo, TX; ten grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Redie and Clara Robertson; sisters, Frankie Noriega, Audrey Sanbourn, and Vickie Garcia; and a great-grandson, Gyntry Graham.

The Robertson family will host a gathering of family and friends from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home, Guymon, OK. A service to celebrate his life of 76 years is scheduled at 10:00 AM on Friday morning, February 24, 2023, at Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at 2:00 PM in the Johnson Cemetery, Johnson, KS.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to any local animal rescue organization in Carlton's memory
