Obituary

Brenda Huffman, 68, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at the Memorial Hospital of Texas County in Guymon.  Brenda was born to Kenneth and Ruby Connolly on November 3, 1954.

She was raised west of Texhoma on the family farm where she was devoted and partnered with her father on the family farm.  Brenda graduated from Texhoma High School in 1973. From there she went on to beauty school in Amarillo, TX. After going to the Exposito School of Hair Design, Brenda started her beauty career in the Texas/Oklahoma Panhandle eventually moving a shop next to her home so she could be at work and be a mom at the same time.

On November 14, 1980 she became a mother for the first time when she had Tim. On August 20,1985 she was united in marriage to David Chan Huffman and then on September 30. 1986 came Cortni Chantel. She was a devoted wife and mother and could always make a house feel like a home.   In 2008 she became a grandmother and was known as "BB" to all her grandbabies - she found so much joy in her grandchildren.  Whether it be traveling to Disney World, South Dakota, or simply sitting in her house singing "twinkle twinkle little star" to her grandkids every moment was cherished. She loved showing pictures of her kids and grandchildren to everyone she talked to. They were all her pride and joy!

Brenda was also a devoted friend, she absolutely loved her friends. She was always up to going and getting a coke and taking a ride and visiting. She also loved going out eating with friends and visiting - she had a great group of friends who always stepped up and help her through her journey.

Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth and mother, Ruby Connolly; father-in-law, Paul and mother-in-law, Blondell Huffman; brothers, Larry Trout and John Connolly; and brother in-law, Robin Huffman.
