Billie Ann Robinson, 93, of Guymon passed away Tuesday afternoon, September 1, 2020 at the Memorial Hospital of Texas County.

The daughter of Clyde and Ruth (Hamilton) Taylor, she was born February 3, 1927 in Spearman, Texas. The family moved to Guymon from Spearman in 1929. Billie Ann was married to Thomas L. Robinson in 1948, he preceded her in death in 2003.

Billie Ann was an active member of the Victory Memorial United Methodist Church. She taught Sunday school, was a member of Joy Circle and enjoyed working in the church clothing ministry. She graduated from Guymon High School with the Class of 1945. Her memberships included Eastern Star, Red Hat's, GTE Retires, ESA Sorority and the Hospital Auxiliary. Billie served as Girl Scout Troop Leader, Neighborhood Chairman and Rainbows Mother Advisor.

Billie Ann worked for GTE as an operator from 1948 to 1953; she then returned as an operator, later becoming a customer representative from 1979 to 1990, retiring in 1990.

She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, Dennis Beck, her husband, and sister, Bettie Ralstin Williams.

Survivors include her daughters, Rebecca Robinson and Gina Horner both of Guymon, one brother, Lyndon Rogers and wife, Bette of Yakima, Washington, grandchildren, Taylor and Cassie Horner of Sapulpa, OK and Rebecca Horner of Norman, OK, two great grandchildren, Madison and Noah, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be Monday afternoon, September 7th at 2:00 p.m. in the Elmhurst Cemetery with Rev. David Player officiating. Services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon. Visitation will be Sunday September 6th between the hours of 4:00 and 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials in memory of Billie may be given to the Victory Memorial United Methodist Church. Memorials will be accepted at the church office or Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Oklahoma 73942.
