Berta L. Jara, 63, of Guymon, passed away Wednesday morning, September 15, 2021 at the Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, Kansas.

The daughter of Gilberto and Dorotea (Lopez) Villegas, she was born July 21, 1958 in Diaz Ordaz Tamaulipas, Mexico. Berta moved to Guymon from Alton, Texas in 2017. She was a homemaker, and active member of No Man's Land Senior Citizens.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Gilberto and Dorotea Villegas, and one son, Jesus Enoch Navarrete.

Survivors include three children: Michele and husband, Jimmy Quesenbury of Guymon, Ana Navarrete of St. James, Minnesota, and Francisco Lopez and wife, Gidget of Morengo, Ohio. Survivors also include thirteen grandchildren, and five siblings, Juan Villegas and wife, Edith of Houston, Texas, Mary Villegas of McAllen, Texs, Leticia Villegas and husband, Baldo of Mexico, Norma Garza and husband, Charlie of Havanah, Texas and Gilberto Villegas and wife, Carmen of Michigan.

Family visitation will be Friday evening, September 17th between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Saturday morning, September 18th at 10:00 a.m. at the Connection Church with Rev. Dr. Dallas McGlasson officiating. Interment will follow in the Elmhurst Cemetery.
