Barbara Sue Larson, 80, longtime Guymon resident passed away Sunday morning, June 21, 2020 at her home.

The daughter of George Washington and Sarah Ella (Scott) Hines, she was born February 17, 1940 in Tupelo, Oklahoma, where she attended school until she moved to Guymon in 1954.

Barbara and Arley Dean Larson, Sr. were united in marriage on November 22, 1957 in Beaver, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Baptist faith and had worked as a cook and waitress as well as in the daycare business. She enjoyed playing bingo, reading, fishing and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean on September 10, 1993. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Alfred Hines; an infant son, Charles Ray Larson; one daughter, Nina Carol Kerbo; one granddaughter, Emily and a son-in-law, Eric Dixon.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Dixon, son, Arley Dean Larson, Jr., special son, Faron Leighnor (Kim) and family and son-in-law, Charles Ray Kerbo all of Guymon; her grandchildren: Jason Larson (Peggy), Fabian Larson (Stevi), Gilbert Royval (Heather), Crystal Larson, Nikki Larson, Caleb Larson and Chasidee Larson; her great grandchildren: Kyle, Ryann, Bryce, Jayden (Noe), Braxton, Megan, Madison, KJ, Eli, Taylor, Chloe, Colton, Ella, Ocean, Micah, Toby, Trenton, Austin, Nicholas, Lauren and Levi; one great-great grandson, Dominic; one brother, Stanley Hines (Pat) of McCoy, Texas; along with numerous nieces, nephew, other family and friends.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted Friday morning, June 26th at 10:00 a.m. at the Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon with Pastor Read Barby officiating.

The family will greet friends on Thursday evening, June 25th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home. Memorials in Barbara's name can be made to the Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home, PO Box 1112, Guymon, OK 73942 to help with expenses.
