Barbara Ann Keith, 76, longtime OK Panhandle resident, passed away Tuesday afternoon, January 22, 2019 at the home of her daughter in Grayson, Oklahoma.

The daughter of Raymond and Bufford (Isch) Daugherty, she was born April 13, 1942 in Reydon, Oklahoma. Barbara attended school in Hooker, Oklahoma and college in Liberal, Kansas.

She was married to Calvin Keith on September 8, 1964 in Amarillo, Texas. He preceded her in death on October 22, 2017.

For the past fifteen years, Barbara was a home caregiver. She had worked for Swift Packing Plant, Optima School system and Wirtz Lumber in Guymon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Calvin, son, Roy Kitch, sister, Rhonda Mitchell; brother, Lamar Daugherty and grandson, Trevor Keith.

Survivors include eight children: Charlotte Keith and husband, Wayne of Optima, OK, Walter Karpe of Optima, OK, Charles Karpe and wife, Lori of Lindsay, OK, Junior Keith of Keyes, OK, Kathy Jones and husband, Mark of Grayson, OK, Anthony Keith of Hardesty, OK, Eric Keith and wife, Sheila of Hardesty, OK and Murry Keith and wife, Mellisa of Guymon, OK. Survivors also include 23 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, two sisters: Linda Ray of Adams, OK and Dixie Snook and husband, Randy of Hooker, OK, and two brothers: Richard Daugherty and Justin Daugherty and wife, Rhonda all of Hooker, OK.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon, January 26th at 2:00 p.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Chapel with Fred Hintergardt officiating. Interment will follow in the Hooker Cemetery, Hooker, Oklahoma. Services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday, January 25th from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
