Asencion Felipe Lozano Olivas, known to all as "Chon", passed away Saturday, November 14, 2020 at his rural home north of Guymon.

The son of Eduvijes and Bartola (Lozano)  Olivas, he was born May 25, 1960 in the mountains of Chihuahua, Mexico.  He moved to Guymon from Johnson, Kansas in 2009.  He was employed with Chain Towing  and Recovery.

Chon was known for his love of his heritage and country.  He was known for his strong and quiet nature.  He was a fighter and warrior, ambitious for life and wanted his children to live a better life.  He had a wonderful laugh that would fill the house and always talked about his children.  He believed in God and was a humble man.  Chon was passionate about horse races, Tamarindo his champion horse was a favorite horse.  He was also a good cook, a hard worker and never without a job.  He will be missed by all.

Survivors include three daughters and three sons: Ester Olivas and Jose Tarin of Fort Lupton, Colorado, Ruth Olivas and Jason Collins of Greeley, Colorado, Mara Olivas of Nashville, Tennessee, Isai Olivas and Serena of Las Vegas, Nevada, Dario Olivas of Las Vegas, Nevada and Christian Olivas and Madison Day of Franklin, Tennessee, and ten grandchildren: Zoey, Ezra, Ezekial, Isaiah, Eliza, James and Ethan, Alice, Genesis and Arabella Rose.

A Celebration of Life and visitation will be Tuesday, November 24 ^th between the hours of 4:00 and 7:00 p.m. at the Bunch -  Roberts Funeral Home, 122 NE 7 ^th St., Guymon, Oklahoma.  Memorials in memory of Chon may be sent to Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Oklahoma.  Inurnment will be in Mexico at a later date.
