Armando Nieto Garcia, 53, passed away Wednesday morning, December 13, 2023 at his home in Guymon following a brief battle with cancer.

The son of Feliciana Nieto and Crescencio Garcia, he was born August 14, 1970 in El Porvenir, Chihuahua, Mexico.  Armando and Hilda Hernandez were united in marriage.  The family moved to Guymon from Covina, California in 2000.

Armando worked in maintenance for the City of Guymon.  He was a member of the Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Alfredo Garcia.

Survivors include his mother, Feliciana Nieto of Porvenir, Mexico; his wife, Hilda Garcia of the home; three children and two grandchildren:  Belem Burkett and husband, Matthew and their children, Zion and Salem of Yukon, Oklahoma, Alfredo Garcia of Guymon, and Iliana Garcia of Yukon; one sister, Lucia Enriquez; two brothers, Jaime Garcia and Raul Garcia along with numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a visitation on Sunday evening, December 17th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home.  A funeral mass will be conducted Monday morning, December 18th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.  Burial will follow at the Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon.
