Ann I. Johnson, 79, lifelong Guymon resident, passed away Thursday morning, December 20, 2018 at the Memorial Hospital of Texas County.
The daughter of Cecil and Mary (McCabe) Davison, she was born February 22, 1939 in Guymon. Ann attended school in Guymon, graduating with the Class of 1957; she then attended college at Panhandle State University in Goodwell.
She was married to Thomas "Gene" Harris on February 15, 1957 in Clayton, New Mexico; he preceded her in death on October 25, 1981. She was married to Delbert Raymond Johnson on October 31, 1990 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Ann was a CPA, she owned and operated her own business, retiring in 1985. She was an active member of the Friends of the Library and Professional Business Women's Association.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Gene Harris; a granddaughter, Jenna Noelle Hicks, two sisters, Gay Reust and Marilyn Thomas and one brother, Jimmy Lee Davison.
Survivors include her husband, Delbert Johnson, resident of the VA Center in Clinton, Oklahoma; three daughters, Jean Hicks and husband, Noel of Guymon, Lee Ann Widmer of Dallas, Texas and Kristy Lynn Jones and husband, Johnny of Guymon. Survivors also include five grandchildren: Nathan Hicks, and fiancée Amber Box of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Lauren Widmer of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Braley Bowers and husband, Trevor of Guymon, Jarrod Widmer of Dallas and Zachary Jones of Guymon; four great grandchildren, Ayden, Parker, Ryanne and Logyn Bowers; two sisters-in law, Joy Smith and Jan Ballard, both of Guymon, and numerous other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be conducted Saturday afternoon, January 5th at 2:00 p.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Chapel with Rev. Odie Nunley officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon.
Memorials in memory of Ann may be given to Friends of the Library. Memorials will be accepted at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Oklahoma 73942.
