Alta Mae Freeman, 86, of rural Balko, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday afternoon, July 21, 2016 at the Memorial Hospital of Texas County.
The daughter of Robert Nelson and Mabel Jane (Gordon) Judd, she was born January 4, 1930 in Friendship, Oklahoma. She attended school in Hooker, graduating with the Class of 1947.
Alta Mae and Johnnie Calvin Freeman were united in marriage on December 24, 1947 in Perryton, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Johnnie C. Freeman on January 17, 1992, infant son, Ralph Terry, sons, Ronnie Dale and Ricki Dean Freeman. Three brothers, Clarence, Raymond, and Don Judd, son-in-law, Mike Steinbach, and a granddaughter, LeAnn Byers Clifford.
Survivors include son, Johnnie Robert Freeman of Balko, Oklahoma, daughter, Jacque Irene Steinbach of Longdale, Oklahoma, daughter-in-law, Rebecca Freeman of Balko, grandchildren, Nathan and Angie Clifford, Johnnie and Shannon Freeman, Cody and Shayla Freeman, Ronda and Jacob Rinker, Randy and Cymba Freeman, Scott and Kim Steinbach, , Joe Steinbach and Jay Steinbach, great grandchildren, Mackenzie and Mathew Parker, Seth Clifford, Kortney McDaneld, Savannah Clifford, Catie Clifford, Mason McDaneld, Wyatt Freeman, Aspen and Becca Freeman, Tanr Hayley, Cayan and Chisum Freeman, Allison, Michael, Garard, Davan, Sarah, and Ethan Steinbach. Great Great Grandchildren, Kason Parker, Kyson and Rose Steinbach, brother, Roy Judd and wife, Louise of Straight, Oklahoma, sister-in-law, Letha Judd of Hooker, Oklahoma, and special friends Jimmy and Amy Brooks.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday morning, July 27th, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Crossroads Bible Fellowship, Byran's Corner with Pastor James Epp officiating. Interment will follow in the Gray Cemetery. Services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
The Freeman family request memorials be given to the Gray Cemetery. Memorials will be accepted at the Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Oklahoma 73942. Friends can sign the online guestbook and leave condolences at www.bunchroberts.com.
