Aldene Caddell, 93, of Guymon passed away Thursday evening, March 16, 2017 at the Memorial Hospital of Texas County in Guymon, Oklahoma.

The daughter of John L. and Zady Blair, she was born October 14, 1923 in Merkel, Texas. Aldene graduated from Ropesville, Texas High School with the Class of 1941.

Aldene and Dillan Caddell were united in marriage on November 24, 1946 in Lubbock, Texas. They moved to Guymon from Levelland and have been residents since. Dillan preceded her in death on February 27, 2016.

Aldene taught Sunday school for 72 years. She was an active member of Grace Southern Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband of 69 years, she was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Reta Blair Reeves; a great grandson and a great granddaughter.

Survivors include her five children and their spouses: Carole and Charlie Rhoades of Guymon, Amy and Rick Parnell of Pampa, Texas, Rick and Crystal Caddell of Norman, Oklahoma, Randy and Vicki Caddell of Garden City, Kansas and Donna and Larry Walker of Lamesa, Texas. Survivors also include 10 grandchildren: Cara Resendez, Chad Rhoades, Ryan Parnell, Kyle Parnell, Cody Caddell, Amanda Caddell, Andy Caddell, Adam Caddell, Kaci Walker and John Walker and 16 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday morning, March 21st at 10:00 a.m. at the Grace Southern Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon. Services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.

Memorials in memory of Aldene may be given to the Grace Southern Baptist Church or Loaves and Fishes. Memorials will be accepted at the Bunch –Roberts Funeral Home, PO Box 1112, Guymon, OK 73942.
