Alberto Peña Martinez, 62, of Guymon passed away Sunday evening, May 17, 2020 at the Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, Kansas.

The son of Francisco Peña and Maura Martinez, he was born November 21, 1957 in Hidalgo, Mexico.  Alberto and Brigida Resendiz were united in marriage on June 24, 2005 in Hidalgo.

Alberto worked for Seaboard Foods as a trainer for the past 23 years.  He came to Guymon from San Angelo, Texas in 1997.  He was a member of the Bethel Christian Church in Guymon.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his mother, Maura Martinez of Mexico; his wife, Brigida Resendiz de Peña of the home; two sons: Edgar Peña of Mexico and Maico and Brenda Peña of Guymon; two daughters: Olga Peña and Samuel Hernandez, and Kaina Peña and Ruben Vasquez all of Guymon.  Alberto is also survived by four brothers and five sisters.
