Adam Todd McCarney, 39, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at the Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo, Texas.

The son of Michael and Angela (Mills) McCarney, Adam was born August 10, 1983 in Amarillo, Texas.  Adam was raised and attended school in Texhoma, Oklahoma.  He was known for his giving heart of gold and maybe just a little mischievousness on occasion.

Adam and Jessica Leigh Boothby were married on September 17, 2011 in Guymon.  Adam drove truck for P & P Delco in Dalhart, Texas for the past 12 years.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Angela McCarney on March 4, 2005 and his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Survivors include his wife, Jessica Boothby-McCarney of the home; his father, Michael McCarney of Texhoma, Oklahoma, along with aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday afternoon, June 20th at 2:00 p.m. at the Texhoma Church of Christ with Ron Eggleston officiating.  A private family burial will be held at the Texhoma Cemetery at a later date.
