Faye Kneeland

Faye Kneeland, 87, of Guymon passed away Monday afternoon, May 21, 2012 at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City.

The daughter of Ora Lee and Dulcia May (O’Conner) Achord, she was born on April 16, 1925 in Stockton, Missouri.

Faye was united in marriage to Everett Kneeland on May 16, 1942 in Vinita, Oklahoma. In 1946 they moved from Vinita to Guymon. Faye was a homemaker and Everett’s bookkeeper. She attended the Nazarene Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Everett in April of 2009; and ten brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her children: son, Daryl Kneeland, daughters, Linda and husband, John O’Leary, and Janet and husband, Doug Lakely all of Guymon. Survivors also include one sister, Bobbie Hill of Deer Park, Texas; four grandchildren, Kenny Perrin, Jay Perrin, Misty Ward and Jennifer Oswald; three step grandchildren, David O’Leary, Tammy Hernandez and Beth Webb, several great and great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be conducted Friday afternoon, May 25th at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Wayne Dawson officiating. Family interment will be in the Elmhurst Cemetery. Services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.

The Kneeland family will greet friends Thursday evening between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family request memorials be given to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association. Memorials will be accepted at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Oklahoma 73942.
