Bonnie Lee Scarborough, 61, of Amarillo passed away Thursday afternoon, April 26, 2012 at the BSA Hospice in Amarillo, Texas.
The daughter of Haywood and Frances (Hartsell) Scarborough, she was born July 2, 1950 at the Epsworth Hospital in Liberal, Kansas.
Bonnie was raised in the Liberal and Hugoton, Kansas areas and attended the Liberal school system. She had worked in the retail industry for several years and was an avid bear collector. She had been a resident of Amarillo for the past 10 years.
She was preceded in death by her father, Haywood Scarborough; her mother and step-father, Frances and J.B. Moore and one brother, Bill Scarborough.
Survivors include her significant other, Robert “Bob” Naylor, of the home in Amarillo; her brother, John Bordwine of Dodge City, Kansas; sister-in-law, Mearletta Scarborough of Guymon and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, as well as a host of other family and friends.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon, April 30th at 2:00 p.m. at the Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon with Rev. Rex Petty, pastor of the Faith Tabernacle in Liberal officiating. Services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
