Grace Ann Goodman

Grace Ann Goodman, 72, formerly of Guymon; passed away Thursday morning, April 5th, 2012 at the Integris Bass Baptist Hospital in Enid, Oklahoma.

The daughter of Lee and Dorothy (Buffalo) Goodman, she was born in Enid on December 10, 1939. Grace was raised in Enid. She had lived in Guymon for over 23 years, and was making her home in Longdale, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and enjoyed arts and crafts.

Grace was married to Jimmie Lee Leighnor on October 5, 1957; he passed away in 1969. She is also preceded in death by her parents; son, Terry Leighnor; granddaughter, Rose Ann Leighnor, and one brother, Leonard Goodman.

Survivors include one son, Faron Leighnor and his wife, Kim of Guymon; one daughter, Norma Walkup and husband, Steve of Washington, Oklahoma; 7 grandchildren: Steven, Richard, Roger, Savanna, Faron Jr., Jonathan and Jimmy. Survivors also include three brothers: LeRoy, Larry, and Jack Goodman, and four sisters, Shirley Goodman, Carol Meyers, Charlene Gobber, and Hope Greenfield.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon, April 9th at 2:00 p.m. at the Bunch-Roberts Chapel with Read Barby officiating. Interment will follow in the Elmhurst Cemetery. Services are under the care of the Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.

The Goodman family request memorials be given to the American Heart Association. Memorials will be accepted at the Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Oklahoma 73942.
